DeadBeat Original Painting 8.3"X 11.7" (A4)

This is a landmark piece for me as it represents the beginning of a new chapter of work. This is the first development in the culmination of my exploration of anything and everything that I've wanted to create over the last 6 months.

From tatoo flash, to abstract expressionist portraits, lino prints, digital art, graffiti and spraypainting, character design and more - I've been steadily working away at drawing and painting whatever came to mind.

Finally - the ADHD multi faceted route of expression and curiosity has started to manifest into something new and unique, as I have started to resolve these adventures into one cohesive style that draws them all together.

This piece is hand painted on 300g/m cold pressed textured paper with acrylics, then embelished with Posca markers and coloured pencils. It combines my love of gritty urban art with traditional techniques, the abstract softness of expressionism with the bold lines of comicbooks, graphic novels and graffiti - and as with most of my work, it is anchored in character design and storytelling.

Prints will also be availble soon, which take this experimentation even further through digital additions and embelishments too - so watch this space - however this original landmark piece is a 1/1 and as the first piece in my newly developing body of work, it is truly a part of my growing story and something special for any collector to own!
